How Drug Works
This medicine works by damaging cell walls and inhibiting essential enzymes that fungal cells need to survive.
How Taken
Fungal infections may return if you don t take the medicine as long as you are supposed to. This medicine can be taken with or without food or milk. Avoid grapefruit juice. The tablet may be crushed if necessary.Follow the directions given to you by your doctor or pharmacist.

If your symptoms get worse or Do NOT get better after several days, contact your doctor. Talk to your doctor if have a history of liver disease.
Overdose
For emergencies, seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
Drug Interactions
This medicine can increase the effects of many other medicines. For more information on drug interactions, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE WITH SELDANE (terfenadine), HISMANAL (astemizole) or cisapride. If you are taking birth-control pills, this medicine may decrease the effectiveness of you birth control pills. Use a back-up method of contraception while taking this medicine to avoid getting pregnant.
Missed Dose
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage
Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Pregnancy & Nursing
If you are or plan on becoming pregnant, talk to your doctor about the benefits versus the risks of using this medicine while pregnant. For nursing mothers, this medicine is excreted in breast milk. If you plan to breast feed, talk to your doctor first.
